Conditions Treated

These may be acute from a recent injury or chronic i.e. long term
Not just sport & exercise conditions but also general aches and pains

Problems managed in the clinic include neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, fingers, spine, chest wall, hip, groin, thigh, knee, calf, ankle, foot & toes.

Typical diagnosis includes problems with joint, tendon, ligament, bone, muscle, cartilage, sprain, strain, tear, fracture and stress fracture, impingement, tendinosis, tendinitis, tendinopathy, epicondylosis.

As with any medical issue the key to effective management is to make an accurate diagnosis.
To achieve this the doctor will make a thorough assessment including discussing the patient’s symptoms and examining the patient.
Often further information will be required in the form of scans and or blood tests.
Where possible any tests will be bulk billed however when that is not achievable any out of pocket expenses will be discussed upfront.

Management is dependent upon the condition being treated in conjunction with other factors but may include:
Scans & Imaging
Rehabilitation and strengthening exercise
Injection therapy
Extracorporeal shockwave therapy
Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)
Biomechanical & gait analysis
Preventative strategies to minimise recurrence
Exercise for the management of weight loss
Exercise prescription for long term health
